Siebe Overdijk is a lecturer and researcher at the Institute of Political Science at Leiden University.
Siebe Overdijk received his bachelor’s degree from Leiden University College The Hague, with a major in World Politics. He completed the MSc Governance of Sustainability at Leiden University and, for his master’s thesis, researched disaster risk management in drought-flood interactions.
Previously, he worked as a lecturer in Public Administration at Leiden University and as a consultant at Crisisplan BV, where he conducted several crisis evaluations.
His research interests include crisis detection and disaster risk management of natural hazards.
